Great attention is paid to selecting caregivers for the Casa Rhoda Homes. Currently, every Casa Rhoda Home is the permanent residence of at least one of the immediate Demonteverde family; Rudy and Norma; siblings Rhoda, John, and Norman; cousins Angel, Erna, Merla and Nancy. In addition to the lead care team of immediate family, other aunts and uncles work in the homes. The Philippine culture holds elders in high esteem and the Demonteverde family has taken care of parents and grandparents for generations. The value of honoring seniors and respecting elders is reflected in the compassionate service that all Casa Rhoda staff practice.
All caregivers are selected for their ability to work on a longterm basis so that residents have the comfort of familiarity with their care providers. State licensing establishes certain requirements before employment can begin but the Demonteverde family have much higher and more comprehensive criteria for selecting caregivers. Seniors and their families are assured of the highest level of professionalism because those who provide care at Casa Rhoda are not just living with the residents, they are living with the Demonteverde family in their personal homes.
Please take a moment to review the biographies of the caregiving team. They are truly some of the most compassionate people you will ever meet.
